Toulmin Method

The Toulmin method is a method in which you arrange system of steps to make an informal method of reasoning, in order being. "Make your claim, Restate or qualify your claim, Present good reasons to support your claim, if controversial provide evidence for it, provide additional evidence to support your claim, acknowledge and respond to possible counterarguments." Toulmin method as shown in its step will set yourself up with ways to reason with someone and also provide evidence for yourself when asked to question too rebuttal back at. The online example I found of the Toulmin method was a courtroom reference talking about if you were a lawyer and you are defending someone with less money being sued by someone with "big bucks" as a lawyer you have to figure out what you will say for you dependent and what will big bucks lawyer have to say, in preparation you can figure it out and ready your responses to it in order to defend your client without them getting sued, as lawyers use the Toulmin method a lot in order to defend their clients in the courtroom.
